Start by rinsing your prawns and then marinating them in paprika, garlic salt and black pepper.

Then in your pan, add in olive oil, your garlic butter sauce, and freshly minced garlic – and sauté until the garlic bits start to turn a light golden color.

Afterwards, add in your shrimp and sauté in your garlic butter sauce until the shrimp starts to curl and become pink.

Pro Tip: Sauté your shrimp for only about 6 minutes total (about 3 minutes each side). Any longer and you risk having overcooked, rubbery shrimp.

Next, just before removing from the heat, squeeze in about 1/2 a lemons worth of juice and mix well. (Also, as an option, add in a bit of Madeira wine to give the dish a slightly sweet caramel-ish taste.)

Cook Your Pasta Noodles

In a large pot, fill with enough water to submerge your pasta noodles. If you want an authentic pasta experience, make sure you go with my delicious homemade egg pasta noodle recipe, otherwise you can simply pick up a package of dry pasta at your local store.

Fan out your pasta noodles so that they quickly soften and become submerged in the water. Cook the noodles according to the instructions and then drain promptly.

Add in your pasta noodles to the pan of garlic butter shrimp and mix well to coat all noodles with the garlic butter sauce.

Then finish with a sprinkle of minced parsley and grate fresh parmesan cheese on top.
